A Prospective Study Investigating the Impact of Radiofrequency Ablation for Axial Neck Pain when Facet Joints are Identified as Etiology of Pain with Cervicogenic Headache

  • Investigate the impact radiofrequency ablation on cervicogenic headache and neck pain 
  • 4 phone calls, Course of 1 year
  • Has lasted neck pain and headache more than 6 months
  • Has not responded to other treatments (such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, bed rest, etc.)
1. Participants:
  • Inclusion Criteria:

    Adults (18+)  individuals experiencing at least 6 months of chronic neck pain and headache that have had a positive response to two diagnostic nerve blocks.

  • Exclusion Criteria: Individuals that are on long-term blood thinners, have had prior cervical fusion surgery at C2-5, or have had surgery in the past 3 months.
